Equipment modifications

If applicable, recommendations for equipment and/or vehicle modifications may be given. After these modifications have been installed, a final check out drive will be required to ensure they were installed according to the therapist's recommendation and the client is able to use them safely.

Types of modifications

The following are a few examples of vehicle modifications that may be prescribed:

Hand Controls (right or left side)

Brake and accelerator (ie: push/rock, push/right angle, etc...)
Extensions to secondary controls

Left foot Accelerator

Steering Wheel Attachments

Spinner Knobs
Steering wheel extension
